Although HonuaTreEai supports Affiliates by supporting them in identifying and submitting applications for funding in their respective States, the effective date of each agreement will only occur once a funding source has awarded a grant to an Affiliate.
There are basically two sources of funds necessary to support this program.
Year 1; the funding required for year-1, include grant(s) necessary for setting up the program, which is sought by the local Affiliates, and funds available via the department(s) of education in the States where the program will be provided.
During subsequent years, the only funding needed will be for ongoing program sustainment. Those funds will again be sought by the Affiliates, and funds available via the department(s) of education in the States where the program will be provided.
Yes! Because the nature of our business requires interaction with local education Agencies (LEA) and youth, all Affiliates must not only sign an Affiliate Agreement with HonuatreEAI, all States will require that they also obtain a background check and be fingerprinted in the states they operate.
Distance learning does not include any in-person interaction with an instructor or study peers. Students study at home on their own and the learning is more individual and varies on speed and timeline according to each individual student and their availability.
No! HonusTreEAI's primary role is to facilitate the delivery of education services provided by Affiliate Educators. Therefore, Affiliate Educators must comply with the requirements of the State agencies in which they provide their services.
No! As in the case of other 3rd-Pary solutions, Affiliates are free to acquire whatever 3rd-Party solutions they desire. For example, there are other similar products available, such as Google Meets. We recommend that you compare the costs, functionality, and scalability of each as you make the choices that best serves your needs and objectives.
No! Our primary objective is to educate as many students as possible. Sometimes, the best way to achieve this is by offering our program to local organizations like non-profits with a youth development mission. In such cases, the Non-Profit Affiliate Plans will more than serve this interest.

Ultimately, Affiliates are independent education service providers using the HonuaTreEAI platform to facilitate the delivery of the services they offer. Therefore, beginning with an understanding of the demands of their target market, all Affiliates must become knowledgeable about the needs and expectations of the Departments of Education (DOE) in the state(s) where their services will be provided.
That said, operating in an Affiliate support capacity, HonuaTreEAI is committed to assisting its Affiliates in the operation and sustainment of their respective businesses. This includes assisting in the research, promotional, and application and submittal process necessary to win approval from the States where the Affiliates seek to serve.
The role of HonuaTreEAI is simply that of providing technological solutions and program support to its Affiliates. Affiliates take the lead in all local business transactions. As such, HonuaTreEAI is limited to technological deployment, implementation, and ongoing technical and systems operation support of our Affiliates.
Because Affiliates are independent service providers, consequently, they take the lead in providing education to students enrolled in their classes. HonuaTreEAI will not interfere with or otherwise disrupt the mission objectives or operations of its Affiliates.
