Common Core Standards
The HonuaTree Education Affiliate Initiative recommends that its Affiliates align the curriculum they develop with Common Core Standards. Why? Because the Common Core is a set of high-quality academic standards in mathematics and English language arts/literacy (ELA). These are learning goals that outline what a student should know and be able to do at the end of each grade. Particularly in subjects such as math, college remediation rates have been high.
As highlighted in the map, the state-led effort to develop the Common Core State Standards was launched in 2009 by state leaders, including governors and state commissioners of education from 48 states, two territories, and the District of Columbia, through their membership in the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA).

The student assessment tools used by HonuaTreEAI include a wide variety of 3rd-Party which is uniquely qualified to support our education initiative. The assessment tools used by HonuaTreEAI provide timely insights to educators, powered through our research expertise, including seasonal learning loss and our norms, which are backed by years of research, resulting in the most trusted data in K–12 education.
Business Consulting
The HounaTree Education Affiliate Initiative is specifically designed to help students achieve academic outcomes that prepare them to reach their full potential in life. That said, we recognize that educators come fully credentialed in their respective fields, but may not be experienced in what it takes to be successful in the use of online technologies, including video conferencing, the HonuaTreEAI directory, etc.
Due to our vast global network and the knowledge and experience that the owners of the HonuaTreEAI platform possess, a clear and intuitive appreciation for the intricacies of operating an internet-based business will be made available to all Affiliates. We are prepared to walk our Affiliates through every step and stay with them on an ongoing basis.
Training - Initial and Ongoing
The transference of knowledge is at the core of all successful operations, which translates into the need for adequate initial and ongoing training when and wherever it is needed. Recognizing that our Affiliates are educators, it is important for HonuaTreEAI to accommodate their time constraints. Consequently, HonuaTreEAI is committed to providing our Affiliates initial and ongoing training, including, but may not be limited to:
1. Initial 7-Day Training Camp
2. Getting Started Videos
3. On-demand video of virtually every tool available in the back office of each student,
4. Ongoing technical and administrative support, as needed.
Ongoing Support
Built into HonuaTreEAI are our ongoing customer and technical support functions. The objective of these functions is to instill confidence in our Affiliates that they are not alone at any time. Included among our support services are grant writing and application submission services. This function is further motivated by our Affiliates' need to provide adequate and uninterrupted education to their Students.
